          At the beginning of this month , I attended the Harrogate toy fair. While there , I had an interesting conversation with Mr. Douglas Gage of Edutoys plc about selecting an agency for our teaching aids. Douglas described your dynamic sales force and innovative approach to marketing. He attributed his own company's success to your excellent distribution network which has served him for several years. We need an organization like yours to launch our products in the UK. Our teaching aids cover the whole field of primary education in all subjects .Our patented ‘Matrix’ math apparatus is particularly successful. You may have reservations about American teaching aids suiting your market. This is not a problem since we have a complete range of British English versions. I enclose an illustrated catalogue of our British English editions for your information. Please let me have your reactions to the material. 一个外贸新人的实习日记

前言
        还有一年就要告别大学生活了,即将踏入社会,我们不再事温室的花朵,必然要参与到大自然的竞争中去,优胜劣汰十大自然的法则,不是大自然太残酷,也不是社会太无情,没有人会同情你,只有用自己的奋斗来向世人表明你也是会成功的。
        由学生一下变成公司职员,这个角色的转变不只有180度那么简单。也不是所有的人都能适应的,因此实习则成了大学生必不可少的一个重要环节,学校之所以重视学生的实习情况,是因为花朵只有经历风雨才能开的更灿烂,应了解学校的良苦用心。
        暴风雨总是会来的,我们不应该甘心把头埋在父母的羽翼下,我们应该展翅高飞,用我们的努力搏击天空。我这个人不是很会驾驭文字,只会用普普通通的话来展露我的心情,现在我会陆续把我的实习经历打上来,和大家分享。(未完待续)

一个外贸新人的实习日记

7月17日      星期一           晴
          今天是我开始实习的第一天,心里又期盼又有点紧张,早上七点就再也躺不住了,就像往常一样洗漱,吃饭,可心里总七上八下的,担心这个,担心那个,可时间不等人啊,心里想着妈妈的话:只要做好充分的准备就能应付一切了。眼看上班的时间就要到了,我换好实习用的套装就出发了,心里想着第一天去应该给大家留下个好的印象,就更不能迟到了,脚下就更起劲了。
         实习的单位离我家不远,只有5分钟车程,快到公司时,我远远的看到我的好朋友兼我的实习介绍人梁英在公司门口等我,说我来得还挺早,我说那当然了,怕我第一天来不知道怎么办,所以来给我安排一下,其实她的工作就是领导新入公司员工的工作,临进公司门时他说,鉴于你不是本公司的签约员工,不受公司管制哦。当然你要好好做啊。我心想,他意思就是说我既不受公司管,那肯定公司不会太重视我吧。然后说,小梁,咱们朋友一场,听公司的安排就是了。我开玩笑的说了说。我俩相视一笑,一前一后进了公司。
          碰巧今天是星期一,公司的总经理要来公司转转,我朋友小梁说,咱们先在侯客厅等会,等大家都来了,我领你认识认识,并参观一下公司,而且今天公司的老板也回来,我也给你引见一下,好多学习学习啊。我一听,小梁还真够意思啊,但心里又添了一点紧张,小梁好像看出了我的担心,说,不要紧张,老板他人很好的,平易近人而且还挺关心新人的,见了他的时候,你想怎么说就怎么说,千万别装模做样的啊,老板挺喜欢有创新的员工啊。经他这么一说,我也放松了好多,丑媳妇总要见公婆的嘛,就当是工作前的一个演习吧。
          就在我俩在侯客厅说笑的时候,看到一个40多岁,但着装非常朴素,又很有气质的一个人走过,梁英说那个就是我们老板王总,以后你们少不了见面的,走,我领你认识一下。说着就站起来说,王总,您好!王总回过头来看到我们,我也赶紧站起来,王总说,原来是小梁啊。他又看了我一下说,这位是?小梁赶紧说,他叫XXX,学习国贸的本科生,想到咱们公司实习一下。我也忙着接话说,王总,您好!请您多指教。王总听完我的介绍,看我有点紧张,主动和我握手,当时我真的受宠若惊啊。王总说,别站着了,到我办公室谈谈吧,我俩高兴的 跟他进了办公室。
         我用眼角扫了一下王总的办公室,用一句广告词来说就是简约而不简单啊。王总示意我们在他的办公桌前坐下,我又详细的向王总介绍了一下我的情况,并对王总的一些问题进行了回答。王总确实人很好,一点架子都没有,我们谈话很轻松的。过了一会,王总说,今天先谈到这吧,先让小梁带你熟悉一下公司,你有问题可以问他,若你毕业了,有意思的话可以来我们公司工作。我非常感激王总赏识,忙点头说,谢谢王总。就这样我们离开了王总的办公室。
        小梁给我介绍说,这个公司其实人挺多的,只是在办公室的人不多,尤其在XX市的分公司,今天先给你介绍一下,现在办公室有的人吧,会计小李,后勤小王,业务头赵哥,还有公关刘姐,还有下面给他们打杂的,人现在不在,回头再给你认识吧,现在公司规模还小,你先跟着大家做,公司生意比较少,你先打打杂吧,我说,没问题了。心想不是人家公司编制的人先学学再说呗。
         和大家都认识一后,刘姐说,小代,现在公司也没什么重要的事情让你做,你先帮我接下电话吧,要是有业务方面的是事情就找赵哥吧,别的就通知我好了,我说ok。就这样,在电话的此起彼伏中,我完成了第一天的实习工作。

7月18日                 星期二                晴
            经过第一天没任何意义的接电话的工作,我还真有点累了,临睡时还想这样的实习太没意思了,一点也不刺激,又一想万事开头难啊。等第二天天一亮我还是马上起床了,心想每天都应该有希望,心中立刻充满了力量啊。
            今天我早早的来到公司,公司还没有人来,看到公司有点乱,就找来扫把和拖把,稍微把公司整理了一下。就在这是刘姐来了,说,小代,来的还挺早嘛,谢谢你把公司打扫的这么干净啊。我也向刘姐回了个好,我说,没什么,举手之劳了。刘姐看着只有25,26吧,但人很干练,说话也很有水平,好像她天生就有那种气质,就像磁石一样能吸引所有的人。刘姐也许是我在那坐着没事干,就过来和我聊天,说我昨天表现的不错,并解释并不是为难我这个大学生,是想让我从基层做起,好慢慢的熟悉我们公司的工作流程啊,其实我心里也十分明白,但总也想不开,经刘姐这么一说,心里热乎乎的。我向刘姐说,刘姐,我明白,我会努力学的,谢谢你啊。刘姐拍拍我的肩,笑着回到了她的办公室。
           公司本来还有个经理助理,但因他出差去外地了,一会半会也回不来,刘姐就把我安排在他的办公桌了,和刘姐聊完天,我开始整理桌上的东西,到了9点左右,大家都陆续的忙了起来,和大家慢慢熟识以后,大家也便不把我当外人了,一会帮这个复印个文件,一会帮那个做个表格,一会又要打字,总之一天下来总是忙忙碌碌的,我看到别人都在忙自己的事,我不想打扰他们 ,在不忙的时候就自己打开桌上的电脑,看一些关于外贸的东西,看这些资料加上自己平时学的只是,也有亲手做外贸的冲动,但在没学好之前,还是忍住吧。
          今天一天虽然很累,但毕竟比第一天学到了不少的东西,学会了用复印机,打印机。最重要的事大家都开始接受了我,我十分高兴。

             今天是实习的第三天,天气有点阴,正好给炎炎的夏日带来一丝的凉爽,对已经熟识的上班之路,本想多睡会,邓快到上班的时间再狂奔过去,就像在学校里那样,但回头一想要是那样给大家的印象多坏啊,就又充满了动力一样,精神饱满地到了公司。
              我暗暗地下了决心,在我短短的实习期间我一定要每天第一个到公司,好好的学习。今天我也不例外,到了公司我还像往常那样,先打扫一下公司的卫生,继续看关于外贸知识的资料,早上刚到公司,也没什么业务,大家来了以后都在看报纸,一开始我还以为大家事忙中偷闲看会娱乐新闻,后来才知道并不是大家太无聊,还是都想通过报纸这个传媒把握当今国际形势,还有和我们公司有业务来往的国家和地区的一些新变化,这这对外贸工作者真的很重要。
唉,汇率又有波动了,总挂业务的赵哥说,我心想汇率可是牵动着一个外贸工作者心弦的问题啊,我仍继续听赵哥说,今天2006年都过半了,汇率虽然涨涨落落,但最终还会涨的,担心也没什么用的,这对出口是造成了一定的难度,但我们还是应该放心,不要因此灰心,我们政府还在那里顶着,所以只能事缓慢的增长,只要大家在价格上多多注意还是可以规避风险的,想想中国号称世界加工厂,当然是以中国廉价的劳动力为基础的,若中国商品没了价格优势,在与西方发达国家的高科技产品竞争时就更没优势了,其实现在很多发展中国家的出口也开始快速增长,并且已经在国际市场上和中国哦进行争夺,原因在于他们更低的成本所带来的更低的价格优势,已经有很多国家把订单转向这些国家,想到这,我们只能尽力从各个方面提高我们的竞争力来弥补汇率波动所带来的影响。
              赵哥他们还继续聊着,我本想插几句话,想到答应小李的先把最近几天的业务用EXCEL表格打出来的,我想这也是一次学习制作财务表格的机会,就高兴的忙起来,因第一次弄,有好多不太了解的,等我都弄完了,也到了下班的时间了,看到自己做的第一份不太完美的表格,心里还蛮高兴的!

一个外贸新人的实习日记

7月20日       星期四          阴转多云
每一天都是新的一天,每天都有新的工作都在等待我,虽然前几天在公司忙来忙去的,其实实质上没有做什么啊,只是教会了我许多进入社会做人的道理。
今天我也一如前几天,第一个到达公司,打开桌上的电脑,浏览着最近这些日子的中国以及国际上的有关外贸的政策变化,正看的入神时连大家来都没意识到,突然听到赵哥郁闷的话,这个电脑怎么了,咱们显示器没显示了,怎么办啊?我说,赵哥,你用我这台吧。我先帮你看看啊。赵哥说,小代,你是不知道啊,我的所有客户资料和产品资料都在的电脑上啊。我说,赵哥,你先别急,我先帮你看看电脑吧,赵哥30多岁的人,电脑软件尤其谈生意的都很懂,就是硬件不是很了解。
我来到他的电脑跟前,打开电脑一看,凭我多年用电脑的经验,感觉是显示器和主机的连线松了,于是我把那个线又插了插,可是毛病依旧,我干脆打开了机箱,重新插了一下显卡和内存,结果再一开机就ok了。毛病消失了。赵哥激动的说,小代,太感谢你了,要不是你 ,今天一天全交代了,花钱修电脑不说,还失约了客户。我说,赵哥,我来实习都是大家帮我嘛,我也是尽力为大家服务了啊。
在大家的帮助下,我今天看到书本上提到过的一些单证,票据,真是百闻不如一见啊。书本上写的那么神秘,其实一见了再写几张或是做几个样品就什么都明白了,我所在的公司是分公司只是做一些流通的业务,票据对公司太重要了,因此公司里的所有人都对票据十分的熟知,因为我刚来,大家都很照顾我,一样样的教育我,让我也慢慢熟悉了。



一个外贸新人的实习日记

7月21日     星期五    晴
今天是周五,大家依旧格外的忙,没因快到周末而放松,后来自己想想都可笑,自己现在在实习并不是在学校,不能放纵自己,因此,今天我还是早早的到了公司。
到了公司我仍像前几天那样学习着国际贸易的流程和各个环节,这时赵哥扔我一堆资料,说,小代帮我整理一下这个,我今天要出去陪一个美国来的客户,谢谢你啊。我说,没事,小事一桩。赵哥。我又不好意思的说。赵哥说,什么事啊,你就说,干什么吞吞吐吐的。我说,我。。。。什么时候能和你一起做业务啊?赵哥拍拍我的肩头说,不要急啊,慢慢来,早晚的事啊。谢谢啊,我笑着说。恩,我先走了,赵哥边走边说啊。
我翻开赵哥给我的资料,原来是公司代理的一部分商品的详细资料,其中有些是国外需求大的商品。我明白了赵哥的意思,他是想让我先熟悉公司的业务,这样和客户谈的时候才能游刃有余啊。我仔细的一页一页看着,并按学过的商品分类把资料分开,又仔细的把公司着重代理的几大类商品仔细的看了一遍,公司代理的商品参差不齐,我也明白了,我们的买家也是商人,并不是最终的消费者,商人关心的事利润,品质越高并不代表他的利润空间也越大,市场的构成则通常是金字塔成橄榄形的,在实际的外贸中,中等和中下等的品质反倒成了主流,同样的,一份价钱一分货是商界永恒的真理啊。
这些物品都是和公司有稳定合作关系的工厂生产的,赵哥给我的商品都是公司有成熟业务,产品非常有市场的。公司近几年招的业务员也都在大力地开辟着新的市场,不过那个谈何容易啊。我也要努力学习产品相关知识,积极提高业务水平。
就这样,在各自忙碌中一天又过去了,赵哥回来的时候,我把资料给他,他说努力干吧,以后带你出去见识见识,多掌握点本事才好哦。我点点头。

7月22日          星期六       阴
           今天天气阴沉沉的,倒是在炎热的烈日下带来一丝凉意,起床后急急忙忙准备去公司,坐在饭桌上才想起今天事星期六,不在学校都不知道星期几了,自己都在笑自己了。唉,还去吗?心想都忙了一周了,也没接触上实质上的东西,就不想去了,可要是不去,让别人觉得我大学生也娇气了,也太不给小梁面子了吧,想到这就马上出发了,争取自己在公司里完美的表现。
          今天虽然事周末,看到大家仍然没有松懈的意思,各自忙各自的,因为我所在的公司是私营的,我挺听别人说一般的外贸公司有双休日的,但我所在的公司内贸也做的啊。我一个人坐在办公桌前,看了会专业书籍就觉得很无聊了便跑到刘姐那,刚过去看到刘姐和一个人在说话,我还以为刘姐在和客户谈合作呢,转身就想走,这时刘姐叫住说,小代,你等会。其实她早就看到我来了。我就在她办公室门口站着,看刘姐和那个人说了几句话,不一会那个人就走了。刘姐叫我进来并示意我坐下,说,那个人和公司有保险业务来往,他快调走了,来和我告个别,其实别听他那一套一套的,嘴巴甜的要命,都事假的,这保险公司里培训出来的都是一个模式的人,油腔滑调的,耍嘴皮子特性。其实我明白刘姐提醒我,与客户交谈中的赞美性的话语,要出自内心,不能不着边际的瞎赞美,要知道,不卑不亢的自然表达,更能获取人心,让人信服。
          刘姐继续说,有的业务新手,讲话都不经过大脑,脱口而出伤了别人,自己还不觉得,比如:你这张名片真土,活着不如死了值钱,等等,这些脱口而出的话语包含批评,虽然我们是无心的批评职责,只是想打一个园场 ,有一个开场白而已,而在客户听起来,感觉就不太舒服,边听她说,我想真是经验之谈啊,想想我这几天有没有太不谦逊啊,出口伤人啊,也许真是无意中的话呢。
          回到我的座位上,想着刚才的谈话,想社会真是太复杂了,应用心坦诚的去面对别人,别人才会对你好啊。
